of the PAPOUŠCI (PARROTS in english) MAGAZINE
This bimonthly is the only specialized Czech periodical focused on all events that are related with the world of parrots. The columns deal with breeding, breeding facilities, hand breeding, breeding of mutations, veterinary medicine, nutrition and feeding, but you can find here also articles about pet parrots, information of life in the wild, reports of activities of foundations that support projects for parrot protection all over the world and a lot of other interesting things. The bimonthly is intended both to experienced breeders and to beginners who can find inspiration here and last but not least to owners who have just one tame parrot at home. One of our aims is to bring up-to-date information, and that is why there is also the column called Zprávy (News) where you can read about the most current news.
In September 2006 we celebrated the fifth birthday of the magazine publishing and Loro Parque, the biggest parrot park of the world and the Loro Parque Fundación had been our important co-worker during all that time. We have established cooperation with hundreds of Czech and foreign breeders and a number of significant institutions working with parrots during our existence.
The magazine PAPOUSCI is made in full colour on art paper in 160 x 240 mm format.
